Dr. Rema Idriss received her Bachelor’s degree in BioTechnology & Chemistry from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She then moved to Chicago to pursue her passion for Optometry at Midwestern University before going on to receive her MBA at WGU with a focus in healthcare management and business law. Dr. Idriss is highly skilled in treating anterior segment disease and Myopia management. She has received numerous awards in leadership and clinical expertise. She has been recognized by VSP as a Practice/Clinical Excellence Award recipient. Dr. Idriss treats conditions that include but not limited to Keratoconus, PMD, eye infections, and cornea problems. She has a special passion for Ortho-Kerartology, a molding technique used to manage and slow the progression of nearsightedness in children.
In her spare time, Dr. Idriss enjoys swimming, reading, going on walks and spending time with her family & friends. Aside from keeping your eyes healthy, Dr. Idriss has a special interest in traveling the world and learning about different cultures. She has visited 45 states and numerous countries with many more to come.
Dr. Rema Idriss is driven by the connections she forms with her patients over the course of their lives and finds joy in maintaining their eye health. Afterall, she aspires to change lives one pair of eyes at a time.
